Job summary

Miller Milling Company is seeking a PacFork Technician to operate the Premier Tech Packer and forklift, and to understand all packing department functions to keep production on schedule.

The role covers operating during lunch/break periods and short staffing, with accountability for production schedules. The technician will report to the Production Manager and work seven days a week as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate and maintain packing equipment including packer, forklift, scale, palletizer and metal detector.
• Must qualify and maintain Forklift Drivers Certification.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and data entry for inventory records.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Packer and forklift to support packing operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation.
• Program date coder and ensure correct date codes.
• Record inventory data and enter into computer systems.
• Rotate through pack line positions and coordinate breaks.
