PAC3 Layup Technician

Hours: 1st Shift

Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM

Friday 6AM-10AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to learn and layup parts of simple to medium complexity.
• Follows resident planning (work instructions) to layup up to 4 different materials based on stages of Layup; measures/mixes adhesive/glue.
• Follows resident planning to remove weights and assemble Tooling to complete the layup.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination, and manual dexterity needed to perform job correctly.
• Uses hands with precision to apply materials to a part without wrinkles, bubbles or imperfections, quickly and confidently to meet department and individual goals.
• Documents relevant data for material traceability purposes.
• Follows work instructions to ensure parts are made per customer requirements.
• Inspects parts and tools visually for damage or quality issues.
• Dependable, maintains regular attendance, and arrives on time daily.
• Cross‑trains and accepts additional responsibilities, including different stages of PAC‑3 Layup and vacuum bagging.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Continuous standing on concrete surface.
• Lifting and moving weights (88–125 lbs.) with a partner using “poles.”
