Zusammenfassung

Sabel Systems is seeking a senior platform engineer to lead IL5/IL6 PaaS/SaaS operations. You will guide engineering teams, engage as a technical SME, and ensure secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes.

Role requires a decade of industry experience, Linux/K8s expertise, and DoD security framework proficiency. A TS/S, AWS cloud exposure, and strong automation scripting are highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a US citizen with an active secret clearance (top secret preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in computer systems support, server installation and support, network administration, and large enterprise platforms; 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience with Linux administration and Kubernetes administration; containerization and K8s deployments.
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity framework and security controls; SRE/DevSecOps mindset.
• Experience scripting (Python, Bash, Go) for automation tasks; CompTIA Security+ CE certification; Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.

Aufgaben

• Lead engineering teams supporting IL5 and IL6 environments, setting priorities and reviewing deliverables.
• Engage with clients as a Technical SME for technical, training, and troubleshooting discussions.
• Ensure CI/CD applications, databases, and tools on Kubernetes platform are operational within the pipeline.
• Lead incident response for PaaS and SaaS layers and coordinate security events with ISSM.
• Maintain PaaS/SaaS architecture decisions and roadmaps across IL5/IL6 environments.
• Translate customer needs into logical, feasible, roadmapped solutions; own platform requirements and onboarding.
• Provide input on staffing, performance, and training; mentor engineers on PaaS/SaaS operations.
• Report status, risks, and cost estimates to Digital Ecosystem Director.
