HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Physician Assistant for a permanent outpatient primary care position with a Federally Qualified Health Center serving West Texas communities. The role offers collaborative physician and APP support, integrated services, and a rural health-focused practice with opportunities for loan repayment and FTCA coverage for qualifying services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active Texas PA license or eligibility
• DEA eligibility when applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Interest in rural health or community-based primary care
• Experienced PAs and qualified new graduates may be considered

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients presenting with acute and chronic health concerns
• Conduct physical examinations and preventive visits
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Develop treatment and follow-up plans
• Prescribe medications within the applicable scope
• Provide patient education and health counseling
• Coordinate referrals and specialty care
• Collaborate with supervising and collaborating physicians
• Maintain accurate electronic health records
• Participate in quality, safety, and population-health initiatives
