Job summary

Eagle Physicians & Associates is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Eagle Endocrinology @ Tannenbaum team in Greensboro, NC. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule; part-time discussions may be possible.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PA or NP program, NC-licensed (certification preferred) with 1–3 years endocrinology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally recognized Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
• NC license – required (certification preferred).
• 1–3 years endocrinology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care within scope of practice.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with clinical judgment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and coding.
• Build professional relationships with patients and colleagues.

Schedule

• Looking for a Full-Time APP, though willing to discuss part-time option.

Qualifications

• One -Three years of endocrinology experience required.

Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave

After one year of employment and 1,250 hours worked, Eagle provides up to two weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Leave is prorated based on FTE status.

Eagle does provide medical benefits for providers that work 24 hours or more per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a cost-effective, efficient, and compassionate manner while maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner principles, practices, and standards of patient care.
• Knowledge of clinical policies, healthcare regulations, medical terminology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice.
• Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice.
• Knowledge of medical equipment, instruments, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
• Ability to accurately document patient encounters, maintain medical records, complete reports, and ensure coding accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and the public.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships while demonstrating professionalism, compassion, integrity, and respect.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and adapt clinical guidelines, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical office technology.
