Job summary

South Bay Cardiovascular Associates in West Islip, NY seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient cardiology. The role includes hands-on patient care, test interpretation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, coordinating tests and follow-ups, and educating patients. Cardiology experience and NYS licensure are required; BLS/ACLS preferred, with occasional Saturdays optional.

Qualifications

• Cardiology/electrophysiology experience preferred, exam & care coordination.
• Proficiency in 12-lead EKG; Nuclear Stress Testing experience a plus.
• Must have NYS PA or NP license and board certification, and BLS & ACLS.

Role Overview

We are seeking an NP or PA to support our outpatient cardiology practice. This role provides hands-on patient care, test interpretation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality cardiac care.

Salary Range
