Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Gynecology Physician Assistant for a part-time, 0.8 FTE position at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
You will diagnose and treat a wide range of Women’s Health cases, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care. This clinic-based role has no call or inpatient responsibilities; procedures include colposcopies, EMBs, IUD insert/removal, and Nexplanon.
As our Gynecology PA, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Tacoma, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Women's Health cases making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Gynecology PA, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex GYN patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
This is a part-time (.80FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 375 bed Level III Trauma Center.
There are 9 OB/GYN physicians, 18 CNM's, 1 GYN APP, 6 MFM, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists at this location.
This will be a clinic based position without call or inpatient responsibilities.
Procedures include colposcopies, EMBs, IUD insert/removal and nexplanon.
Experience with Women's Health, HRT/Menopause preferred.

Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
Minimum one year of Women's Health experience preferred
