Job summary

Amky Physician Services is seeking a PA specialized in Emergency Medicine for Urbana, IL. The candidate will join a busy ED with 17 beds and about 33,000 patient visits annually.

Responsibilities include providing urgent care coverage under 24-hour physician supervision, with APP shifts from 10a-6p and 6p-2a. BC/BE in EM is required, ACLS/PALS/ATLS preferred; two years of ED experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine; Family Practice with EM experience considered.
• ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications required.
• Minimum two years ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 17-bed ED with Fast Track.
• Support 24-hour physician coverage with APP shifts 10a-6p and 6p-2a.
• Operate within Epic EMR environment.

BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Will also take Family Practice with extensive Experience in Emergency Medicine.

BE must have ACLS-PALS-ATLS. Minimum two years experience required.

Cover Type:

• Emergency Department Information: 33,000 projected annual patient visits
• 17 bed ED, including Fast Track
• 24 hours of day physician coverage
• APP Shifts: 10a-6p, 6p-2a
• 16 hours of advanced practice provider coverage
