Job summary

Tufts University School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program invites a collaborative Core faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. This 1.0 FTE, non-tenured track position reports to the Program Director and works with the Director of Didactic and the Director of Clinical Education to support academic-year operations and student learning.

Responsibilities include teaching, advising, service on curriculum/admissions committees, and participation in accreditation processes to maintain

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in professional health education is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to engage in program evaluation and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in active learning, classroom, and laboratory settings.
• Develop learning outcomes, syllabi, lectures, and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and participate in skill assessments.
• Advise students during the first and second years.
• Contribute to curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in accreditation activities and program evaluation.
• Attend program, department, and university meetings and development workshops.
