Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute care in Wisconsin. This part-time role is scheduled on weekends, providing essential clinical care in a skilled nursing facility, including exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning.

We offer training, mentorship, and support to both new grads and experienced providers, plus highly competitive pay ($420–$560 per day) and uncapped bonuses in a collaborative, tech-enabled team environment.

Qualifications

• PA-C License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• All Experience Levels Welcome – Training & Mentorship Available!
• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with a patient-first approach

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
