P2P Process Expert (W2 Contractor)

Location: US Remote (ET hours)
Duration: 6 months
Max Bill Rate: $70-$75/hr W2 – possible flex for the right fit

Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Process Expert to join our team as a W2 contractor. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, focusing on mapping and optimizing the 5-way match process across multiple procurement channels.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Map end-to-end procurement workflows across diverse buying channels
  2. Analyze and improve the 5-way match process (need → contract → PO → receipt → invoice)
  3. Perform gap analysis and develop action plans to address inefficiencies
  4. Recommend and implement P2P process improvements
  5. Create clear documentation and process flows using tools like Visio or Lucidchart
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to align improvements with business goals

What gets you the job:

  1. 5–10+ years in procurement process improvement, ideally in global enterprises
  2. Hands-on experience with P2P process design and operating models
  3. Expertise in gap analysis and process mapping (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
  4. Familiarity with procurement tools like Coupa, Ariba, or similar
  5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  6. Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
