Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Actuarial Analyst in the United States, located in the Atlanta area with a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports P&C actuarial analyses, develops models, and communicates insights to leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a related degree, experience with data analysis in Excel/SQL/R/Python, and progress toward SOA/CAS credentials. The position offers competitive salary with exam incentives, 401(k) and comprehensive health benefits, plus ongoing tuition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical fields.
• Experience with data and statistical analysis is required.
• Successful completion of at least three SOA or CAS exams; ACAS designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuarial recommendations for leadership and implement changes to meet financial objectives.
• Apply statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems and analyze actuarial questions.
• Collaborate with other State Farm areas to address multi-faceted business issues.
