Job summary

Warrior Services Company LLC is seeking an Oxygen Medical Delivery Technician in Bend, OR to handle home medical equipment delivery, setup, and patient support.

You will perform equipment checks, comply with DOT/FDA regulations, and coordinate with respiratory staff to ensure timely, safe service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years of DME medical delivery driver and/or oxygen knowledge experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact knowledgeably with customers.
• Ability to be on call 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Ability to pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Respirator/Oxygen Operations Manager.
• Performs 90-day equipment checks, servicing oxygen supplies, filter replacement, and safety assessments for Veterans in the Bend, OR area.
• Become familiar with DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen.
• Completes route sheet accurately and returns in a timely manner.
• Provides veteran orientation, instructing on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of equipment.
• Assists in inventory and ensures proper handling of rental equipment.
• Maintains professional appearance and proper company uniform.
• Performs all office maintenance tasks as required.

Warrior Services Company LLC provides Durable Medical Equipment, Mobility, and Access services to the federal government and commercial customers in different parts of the country, providing Home Medical Equipment (HME) and Services consisting of all types of DME, Home Oxygen Services, Sales and Repairs of Complex Rehab Power Mobility Devices to the Department of VA and other Federal Agencies.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Reports directly to the Respirator/Oxygen Operations Manager.
• Performs 90-day equipment checks, servicing oxygen supplies, filter replacement, and performing safety assessments to Veterans in the Bend, OR area.
• Become familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen.
• Completes route sheet accurately and returns in a timely manner.
• Provides veteran orientation, instructing on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of equipment.
• Works with veterans to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative.
• Returns and unloads returned rental equipment, assuring proper segregation of clean and dirty equipment.
• Completes delivery and picks up paperwork promptly and accurately, including route sheets, manifests, and patient/client documentation, returning paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel.
• Assists in cleaning and disinfecting rental equipment.
• Assists in minor repair work on home medical equipment within the scope of training.
• Requests additional stock for inventory as needed.
• Assists in inventory count as needed.
• Maintains a professional appearance and appears in proper company uniform.
• Assists in tracking down paperwork, signatures, charts, etc. as needed to complete orders.
• Promotes teamwork among co-workers, including in assisting respiratory therapists and patient care coordinator as needed.
• Performs all office maintenance tasks as required.
• Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with patients/clients.
  • Always markets the company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Assumes other duties within scope of training as assigned by the Respiratory/Oxygen Operations Manager.

Physical Demands :
