Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking multiple Owner/Operator Truck Drivers for our Charlotte, NC terminal. You will plan routes, perform safety inspections, keep records, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations while delivering freight on designated routes.

This role offers home daily schedules and daily productivity incentives. Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A and at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, with a minimum age of 21 and 2005+ tractors.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2005 or newer tractor.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and other expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
