Job summary

DILE Trucking LLC is seeking skilled Owner-Operators to independently manage their own commercial vehicle for freight delivery. You will drive safely, manage logistics, and maintain compliance with DOT rules while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a Class A CDL, TWIC card, and 2+ years of over-the-road experience (drayage preferred). Expect weekly settlements, flexible home time, and the option to choose loads and routes.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required
• TWIC card required
• Minimum 2 years over-the-road experience
• Ocean container drayage experience preferred
• Clean background check

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various destinations within South-East Regions.
• Ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, chassis & trailer.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly.
• Utilize electronic with PortPro Driver for dispatch & daily plan.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure proper working order.
• Secure cargo for transport to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Utilize Samsara for ELDs (provided by DILE Trucking).
• Will operate under DILE Trucking authority.
