Job summary

A freight transportation company is seeking owner-operators for local, regional, or OTR work in Washington, D.C. Candidates must possess a suitable vehicle, including a Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight, along with the required insurance and documentation. The job offers flexible scheduling, with no forced dispatch and competitive pay. Operators can negotiate their rates and will receive weekly paychecks. We are not accepting operators with active USDOT or authorized MC numbers.

Qualifications

• Must own a Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight.
• Vehicle 2015 or newer, good condition, no stickers.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Commercial insurance: $1,000,000 Auto Liability, $100,000 Motor Cargo ($1,000 deductible).
• Passport and Green Card (Canada availability required).

Responsibilities

• Owner-operators manage their own schedule and loads.
• Ensure proper vehicle condition and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with the company for support.
