Job summary

Pace Runners, Inc. is seeking owner/operators with their own 16' box trucks for dedicated Gulfport, MS routes. You will pick up from our Mobile AL warehouse daily and return to Gulfport to deliver to designated stores.

Most routes run Monday–Friday, ~150–300 miles round trip, with loading/unloading, scanning, and real-time updates via our Pace app. Excellent customer service and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Owns a working 16' box truck with liftgate.
• Meets insurance requirements: $1M CGL, $1M auto liability, $100k cargo.
• Must pass MVR, background, and drug screening.
• Drivers must be 21+ and have active DOT number with FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Load freight from warehouse and deliver to stores.
• Scan each carton at delivery.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document deliveries.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and representations.
• Represent Pace professionally and provide excellent service to customers.

Pace is seeking owner/operator/independent contractors with their own 16' box truck (liftgate needed) in Gulfport MS for dedicated lanes. You will be picking up from our warehouse in Mobile AL daily then heading back to Gulfport to make your deliveries. Home daily!!As a box truck delivery driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries on a multi-stop route in and around the Gulfport market. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.

Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

• Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated stores
• Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
