Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking driven individuals to become Independent Operators in the Renton area. You’ll own and operate your own Grocery Outlet store with full responsibility for business operations.

Responsibilities include store operations, leadership, merchandising, community engagement, and financial performance. You will have uncapped earning potential and a flexible schedule, supported by corporate training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ retail store management or multi-unit leadership experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for retail and customer service.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Store operations: oversee daily functions, inventory, and financial oversight.
• Lead, hire, and train a high-performing team for excellent service and operations.
• Merchandising: execute buying and product assortment to local demand.
• Community engagement: support local causes aligned with company mission.
• Manage financial performance: sales, margins, expenses, profitability.
• Create a welcoming shopping experience with organized, well-stocked stores.
• Operate autonomously with the Grocery Outlet network’s support.
• Maintain flexibility to schedule working hours; has full-time commitment.
• Receive training and mentorship from corporate teams to resolve issues.
