Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the activities of staff in the collection, evaluation, production and dissemination of drug law enforcement intelligence.
• Oversees and plans the operations of an intelligence program with worldwide implications.
• Assesses unforeseen developments and difficulties; initiates, plans and evaluates research and analysis programs.
• Prepares and presents briefings to federal, state, local law enforcement and foreign dignitaries on difficult drug trafficking issues.
• Performs administrative and human resource management functions for supervised staff and sets performance guidelines.
