Job summary

You will respond to alerts from Orleans County DHS, assist with crises, ensure space safety, and perform light cleaning between shifts. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and excellent communication with trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Trauma-informed, empathetic approach to guests.
• Ability to respond to crises using de-escalation and activating emergency services as needed.
• Respond to Code Blue alerts and related communications.
• Ability to create and manage on-call schedules for warming center staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Code Blue Alerts from Orleans County Department of Human Services
• Provide ongoing support to the Warming Center, and responding to crises.
• Ensure space is safe for residents and be prepared to activate emergency services as needed.
• Light cleaning after each shift to prepare space for future use.
