Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Huntersville is seeking an Overnight Weekday Veterinary Technician to support hospital operations during the overnight shift, providing high quality patient care and client service.

The role requires CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT credentials, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, medication administration, and medical recordkeeping. Full benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)/LVT/RVT/LVMT required and minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Ability to perform core nursing skills including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Experience with hospitalized/critical patients and overnight care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and nursing support during overnight shifts.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate documentation and triage as needed.
• Communicate patient status and care plans with owners as appropriate.
