Job summary

SP Plus Corporation in Manhattan, NY is seeking an Overnight Valet Driver to provide safe vehicle parking, customer interaction, and accurate rate explanations. You will support the team with daily operations, maintain a clean uniform, and follow directions to ensure a smooth, secure experience for guests.

This role offers tips in addition to the hourly wage, with benefits and a supportive training program through SP+ University. Prior driving experience and a valid license are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
• Availability to work special shifts (2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends).
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (provide documentation if hired).
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to problems.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt calmly to changes while working.

Responsibilities

• Inspect every vehicle before parking, noting all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Respond to customer questions quickly and kindly.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, hazards, and policy violations to management.
• Know area streets and landmarks and provide directions if needed.
• Come to work in a clean uniform, on time, and ready to work.
• Remain in uniform for the entire shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned
