Job summary

SecureOne Security Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in the Chicago South Suburbs. Training is provided, and we assist with obtaining the Illinois PERC license before start date.

Officers perform access control, patrols, monitoring, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional appearance and conduct during shifts. Must be 18+, HS diploma preferred, and able to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Illinois PERC Card and 20-Hour Certificate required to begin work (we help you obtain these).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned premises through regular foot patrols and observation.
• Enforce site-specific rules and standard operating procedures.
• Document incidents, hazards, and any unusual activity accurately.
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate logs and submit daily activity reports.
