Job Summary

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to keep things moving? As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at CJ Logistics, you will be the first point of contact for drivers, ensuring that shipments arrive and depart efficiently. This role requires strong multitasking, team collaboration, and a passion for smooth operations.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $21–$23 per hour + $0.75 per hour shift differential
• Schedule: First Shift A – Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 pm–8:00 am
• Schedule: First Shift B – Sunday to Thursday, 11:30 pm–8:00 am

Responsibilities

• Greet & Direct Drivers: Sign in/out drivers, verify paperwork, and assign dock doors for inbound and outbound loads
• Inventory Management: Keep trailer inventory accurate with real‑time updates on doors and yard reports
• Coordinate Yard Moves: Work with spotters to ensure smooth yard activity and direct moves for the spotter/yard jockey
• Handle Paperwork: Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips
• Maintain Accurate Schedules: Record door reports and trailer inventory logs
• Deliver Customer Service: Serve as the friendly face of the facility for internal and external customers
• Reconcile Shipments: Match inbound loads with packing slips and manage drop‑lot activity
• Manage Schedules: Keep inbound and outbound schedules to ensure seamless operations
• Spot and Report Discrepancies: Identify errors and report to leadership
• Collaborate with Shift Management: Work closely with leads to meet shift goals
• Participate in Training: Engage in ongoing training programs to stay proficient
• Execute Tasks Safely and Timely: Perform all tasks with safety and efficiency
• Adapt to Changing Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
