Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Support Specialist / Mental Health Technician for the overnight shift at Crossroads Group Home in Kansas City, Missouri. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, with built-in shift differentials and overnight coverage to support residents and the night team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification must be Heartsavers approved within 90 days of hire.
• LIMA licensure required within first 90 days.
• Valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license. Familiar with operating a 15-passenger van within 3 months.
• Family Care Registry background check required.
• Complete orientation and required trainings within established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration (training provided) and proper documentation.
• Conduct client wellness checks during night hours.
• Complete nightly documentation and updates to resident records.
• Facility upkeep, cleaning, safety checks on equipment.
• Coordinate handoffs with daytime staff for seamless transitions.
