Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a stock associate to stock food shelves across our stores. You will ensure items are correctly shelved using the provided location codes and maintain a tidy, well-organized back room.

The role includes stocking, pulling backstock, and collaborating with management to keep high-traffic areas properly replenished. The position emphasizes customer service, a friendly attitude, and comfort with overnight shifts to support store operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems and is comfortable using them.
• Process driven and able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
• Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of the operation of a forklift and pallet jack is a plus.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What will you be doing?
