Job summary

Town Pump in Montana is seeking a motivated Store Clerk to join our team. You will provide excellent customer service, handle cash, stock shelves, price and rotate merchandise, and maintain deli areas and overall store appearance.

You will operate a computerized register, give correct change, process payments, and assist customers with inquiries while helping to prevent shoplifting and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, cash handling, and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, store housekeeping, safety and security, and deli food sales and cooking.
• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, scan cards, accept checks, and bag merchandise.
• Recall regular customers and assist with phone calls, monitor for shoplifting, and handle customer complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift duties, clean and maintain all store areas, complete vendor check-ins, and report policy violations to management.
• Sweep the lot, snow removal, clean gas pumps, and prepare cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee and fountain areas.
• Perform deli duties as described for smaller locations.
