Job summary

Town Pump Company in Ennis, MT is seeking a motivated Store Clerk to join our team. You will be responsible for customer service, cash handling, stocking, pricing, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness.

Daily tasks include operating the register, processing payments, stocking shelves, displaying merchandise, and supporting deli duties where required. You will help screen customers and prevent shoplifting while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and handle cash accurately.
• Operate POS system, process payments and bag merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety and order; monitor for shoplifting.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating and displaying merchandise.
• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change and process payments.
• Remember regular customers, answer calls, police the store and handle complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift work, maintain all store areas and assist with vendor check-ins.
• Help with deli duties in smaller locations as described in the deli job description.
