Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming store experience in the Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, help locate products, and ensure displays are full and visually appealing.

Daily duties include stocking, rotating items, using store technology, and following food safety standards. This role supports multiple departments and helps keep the store running smoothly for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
