Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked with a variety of food and grocery items. You will move products from pallets/carts to assigned locations, manage back-stock, and keep the store clean and organized.

Applicants should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, work well in a team, and be willing to work overnight shifts to prep the store for the day ahead. Meijer offers weekly pay and many employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
