Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and keep shelves stocked with a wide range of products. The role involves merchandising, basic tech use, and teamwork to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in handling tasks.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
