Job summary

Meijer in Cincinnati is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers have a smooth shopping experience. This entry level role focuses on product placement, merchandising, and friendly service.

You’ll work overnight shifts, stock shelves, move products from pallets, maintain a clean store, and collaborate with leadership to meet daily goals; prior pallet jack or forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; shifts may be overnight.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backrooms.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
