Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and provide friendly, efficient service to customers. This role involves a variety of retail tasks related to product placement and merchandising, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
