Meijer is a family company serving people and communities. As a Stocking Clerk, you will stock shelves, move products from pallets to correct locations, and keep backstock organized to finish the assigned area.

You’ll work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead and support leadership to ensure timely completion. You’ll thrive if you enjoy organized, hands-on work, stay productive in a fast-paced environment, and value teamwork.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
