Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized, with attention to timely restocking, back-room management, and safety. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for daily operations.

You will stock shelves, move product from pallets to shelves, remove backstock and dispose of waste, and collaborate with leadership to complete tasks. A friendly demeanor and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized way.
• Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
