Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Ohio to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. The role focuses on product stocking, frontline customer service, and merchandising tasks in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, coordinating with leadership to meet deadlines, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Overnight shifts are required; the position offers opportunities for growth within a family-oriented retailer.

Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
