Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, stock and merchandise displays, and use technology to complete tasks accurately.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
