Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to help keep shelves stocked, displays attractive, and products rotating as needed. You will interact with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain store standards across Fresh departments.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient task completion in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required. This position offers growth opportunities and a family-friendly culture.

Responsibilities

• Take stock from carts or pallets and place in correct shelf locations using provided codes.
• Maintain fresh, full, visually appealing displays across departments.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Assist across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery as needed.
