Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Michigan to maintain stocked shelves and move products from pallets to the correct locations, ensuring the store runs smoothly. You will work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead and support leadership in completing designated areas efficiently.

You will contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment, while delivering friendly customer interactions as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic technology skills and ability to learn processes.
• Ability to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player who supports shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
