Visiting Angels Kansas City, KS is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to support seniors at home in the local area, including Olathe, Kansas City, Overland Park, Shawnee, and Prairie Village. You will provide compassionate, at-home care to help clients stay in their homes with dignity.

The role offers flexible shifts (FT/PT) with a range of duties from personal care to mobility support, meal planning, and medication reminders. Training and safety standards are emphasized to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping around the home.
• Encourage and support clients to meet fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with shopping or grocery delivery and storage.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on abilities.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and outings.
