Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking an University Security Officer – Access Control & Bike Patrol Officer for night hours. This role requires patrolling various locations, monitoring premises, and providing customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualified candidates will have a CT guard card, CT driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of security experience (military or law enforcement allowed as substitution). Bicycle patrol is required.

• Active Connecticut State Guard Card REQUIRED.
• Active Connecticut State Driver's License - Reliable transportation & Clean Motor Vehicle History
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of Security Experience REQUIRED- Military/Law Enforcement experience may substitute
• Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable and self-motivated with high level customer service
• Bicycle Riding Required

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and patrol as assigned to maintain a safe environment.
• Enforce client regulations and directives for personnel, visitors and area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Assist with access control and respond to incidents during shift.

Pay: $20.75 per hour to start

Schedule: (PT 16HRS PER WEEK) 11PM - 7AM Friday, Saturday
