Job summary

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach is seeking a vigilant Security Guard/Officer to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents while upholding hotel policies in a professional manner.

Schedule: 10:00pm-6:30am. The role reports to the security leadership and offers potential growth within the hotel’s security organization. A calm, observant demeanor and a commitment to a culture of excellence are valued.

Qualifications

• No educational minimum is required.
• Previous experience in this exact position.
• A combination of education and experience.
• Hotel-related customer-service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guard hotel safety for guests, staff, and property.
• Patrol premises, monitor security systems, and respond to emergencies.
• Report to the Director of Security, Director of Finance, or General Manager.
