The position offers a $22.00–$23.00 hourly rate, Saturday–Tuesday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am (32 hours), with enhanced benefits including medical, 401k, paid time off, uniforms, training, and scholarship programs. At least 18 years old with right to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation. [ this site requires valid driver license)
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process; screens visitors and client employees to expedite admittance.
• Provides a courteous, respectful interaction and presents a good image of the client and its security department.
• Communicates in a clear, honest, responsive manner and provides site information as requested.
• Monitors entrances and exits; controls movement of people and vehicles; operates gates and CCTV; directs disturbances off property.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or by vehicle; checks for hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or scene of incidents; sets up barriers and signage; provides directions as needed.
• Prepares logs/reports; enters information in computer using standard grammar; reviews control logs.
• Observes and reports incidents to client representatives, management, or authorities as appropriate.
• Responds to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, or other incidents following established procedures.
• Ensures property removals comply with policy and client standards.
• Carries out similar duties as required for the site.
