Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to monitor and protect client premises overnight. You will report incidents, assist in maintaining safety, and support security measures while providing strong customer service.

Wages range from $14.50 to $15.00 per hour. Must have a valid driver certification and TWIC card; prior security experience is preferred, but training is provided. Evening/night availability is required.

Overnight Security Officer

Must have strong customer service skills, the ability to complete patrols, and solid technology skills (cell phone and computer use). Prior security experience is preferred. A valid driver certification and TWIC card are required. Candidates must be available for overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may be required for long periods, climbing stairs, and walking up inclines or uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Security positions are full and part time.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Valid driver certification and TWIC card.
• Available for overnight shifts.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone and computer use).
• Prior security experience preferred.
