Job summary

Admiral Security Services seeks a capable security officer to join our professional team in the Town of Florida, NY area. The role involves access control, enforcing policies, patrolling premises and reporting incidents to management.

You will interact with clients, vendors and the public while maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate has at least one year of verifiable security experience, strong customer service skills, and comfortable with MS Office and site-specific security

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable work experience in security or a related field.
• Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with site-specific security programs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine building patrols.
• Report issues to operations manager, client and managers.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
