Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Security Guard in Eugene, OR for a full-time role. The shift runs Wednesday to Thursday 9pm-6:30am and Saturday to Monday 1am-8am, with a wage of $19.50 per hour.

You will monitor cameras, perform patrols, and engage with staff to ensure safety and security at the site. The position emphasizes customer service, calm demeanor, and reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred; security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Able to stay calm and be attentive throughout the shift and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Monitor cameras and perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
