Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Emergency Pet Clinic of Longmont in Colorado is seeking an Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 emergency team. You will provide dedicated veterinary care and support to our patients and clients.

The role requires RVT certification, experience in emergencies, ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach. Signing bonus up to $5,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Prior emergency or specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable in high-pressure situations with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on emergency care including triage, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, anesthesia monitoring, and more.
• Assist veterinarians in critical cases and surgical procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients with attention to detail and compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and patient updates.
• Support a collaborative team environment while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.
