Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Emergency Pet Clinic of Longmont is seeking an Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our 24/7 emergency team in Longmont, Colorado. You will provide hands-on emergency care, assist with surgeries, monitor patients, and ensure excellent client communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Prior emergency or specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable in high‑pressure situations with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on emergency care including triage, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, anesthesia monitoring, and more.
• Assist veterinarians in critical cases and surgical procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients with attention to detail and compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and patient updates.
• Support a collaborative team environment while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.
