Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers, moving products from pallets to shelves, pulling backstock, and maintaining a clean, safe store.

You will interact with customers, work as part of a team, and support stock and merchandising tasks. The role may include overnight shifts and physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs, with preference for pallet jack experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts as needed.
• Comfort with using basic technology and following store procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
