Job summary

Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors for an Overnight Retailer Merchandiser role on a 5-day project in Lombard, IL, paying $19/hr. The job involves replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels and documenting progress using our app.

Start date is October 4th, 2026, at 10:00 PM with 8.5-hour shifts and an unpaid lunch break. Candidates must have retail merchandising experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with a smartphone and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven retail merchandising experience.
• Physical Ability: Lift up to 50lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Technology: Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App.
• Other: 18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• DressCode: Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt or polo.

Responsibilities

• Unbox electronic shelf label kits and verify all materials are included.
• Remove paper price tags from store shelves.
• Install new strips, electronic shelf labels, and associated tags in designated departments.
• Remove trash from the store and dispose of it in the dumpster.
• Palletize excess materials for pickup.
